Celestino Cialfi

If there is one word to describe Dino Cialfi, chef/owner of Peppercorn’s Grill in Hartford and Piccolo Arancio in Farmington, it is passionate!

As a young man Dino risked everything to move to Italy to follow his dream of being a restaurateur. Sending brother Sal ahead, he used his degree in economic from Central Connecticut State University to raise money to create the original Piccolo Arancio in Rome. A few years later, Dino brought his inimitable style and distinctive palate back home to Connecticut.

An avid traveler with insatiable creative energy, Dino blends cuisines of the world with the traditional Italian cooking he learned at his mother’s knee to inspire menus that are as innovative as they are delicious.

With his passion for fine food and his exquisite taste Dino has made Peppercorn’s Grill a delight for the senses.
